We are a small family farm started May 2017 in south central Wisconsin. We originally stumbled into the dorpers by accident, but it ended up being the best thing we could have imagined. Today we specialize in fullblood, purebred, and commercial dorpers. We are a scrapie enrolled certified flock.

 

Dorpers are hair sheep originating from South Africa, a cross between the Dorset horn sheep and the blackhead Persian. Some of the best things about dorpers are that they require easy and minimal care, including little to no shearing. They are also very parasite and worm resistant and have a thick skin to thrive in various climates. There are two varieties of dorper, full white and black heads. When mixed they can produce a variety of hair patterns and spots.
